This app the second in the "pilot helper" series is aimed at helping you out with all those pesky acronyms and contractions.
This application is for professional and private Pilots. It is a compact search tool used to help with NOTAM / Weather Contractions (Acronyms) either inflight or on the ground.
On the Ground this app helps you interpret complex NOTAMs and un-decoded METARs/ TAF’s / Area Forecasts, etc..
As a pilot you often review your NOTAMS again in the air when close to your destination as a reminder, it is impractical to go looking up contracts at this stage of the flight but this app makes that simple.
Simply type in the first few characters of the contraction and the list will narrow down showing you the definition you need to understand the information you have.
E.G. if looking for the meaning of "PAEW" you just type in part of the contraction "pa" and you will see the list narrow down to similar contractions with the definition adjacent to it in this case “Personnel and Equipment Working”.

Good app that gets the job done. Just wish had some way to contact the developer, searched the website for an email to ask a question, but couldnt be located. Also would like to see when you highlighted the deifinition, it would have a popup box. On some, not all the definition show.
I use this app daily in fly planning, makes notam and Wx interpretation easy
The App now lets you tap on the contraction to display the entire definition
Functional app with the search bar, NOTAMS & Weather but Ive come across a contractions that Ive had to search elsewhere to find. Updates may be required.
Some bad moments
Looks like this app is only made for non pro pilots. The WX part us incomplete. Looks like it´s made for the US only but not for intl ops....
I cannot use this app with ios 9. Howcome this is possible ???
It was a very nice app before the last revision, it was possible to decode meteo acronym as well, now only notams acronym is available, a downgrade of application
App does not work on iOS 9. When you try to open it flickers then closes. I want a refund...
